I really like coming here because everyone’s just really nice and caring and nothing really… they never make it painful, to be honest. It’s all very gentle and very easy process and just everybody’s nice to talk to. I’ve gone to another office when I was a lot younger and I noticed that they were a lot more rougher with everything. So, here they were a lot more just calmer, they took their time, and if you had questions halfway through the process, they’d stop and explain what was going on.
He’s just really open and he’s willing to talk to you and explain things if… Like, when I got my fillings, he was able to explain to me the process, he double-checked on me during the process and just making sure I wasn’t having any pains. I know they have a whole list of options of things that you can use if you need to adjust your neck, if you need just a snack at some point, they’ll stop the process and be like, “Okay, here’s some coffee, here’s some tea.” just to kind of help out the comfort levels.
I honestly give a little call-out to Kayla, the dental hygienist, because she is totally just very… She has really good customer service skills, to be honest, in a way that she’s very understanding with people. She’ll listen if there’s any pain, if there’s anything. She’s very detail-oriented with her cleanings. So, she’ll be able to get every little thing while also being very understanding and willing to work with their adjustments that they need.
Well, I’ve been coming to Dr. Joh for over 25 years. My whole family has been coming here. It’s just like it says, it’s very comforting for us. Just wonderful staff. Dr. Joh is just so comforting. I kept seeing the word comforting. You know, that’s probably where they got their name. Dr. Joh is a very passionate man. He just does great work.
Coming to the dentist is not a favorite thing to do, right? But with Dr. Joh, he makes you want to come and see him. At Comfort Dentistry, you can expect professionalism, caring, top-quality work, speed. You know, when I’ve had a crown, you know, they get it out there. As soon as it’s in, they call me up. So it’s just fabulous.
First of all, the staff. Absolutely magnificent, very caring, very polite, very nice, big smile when you walk in. And of course, Kayla, Alisa, and the doctor are something special. They really exceed at what they do and everything they do is more than perfect. For me, I believe they go above and beyond. They go the extra mile to look after me and to give me the best for me without hassle, without pushing. Back then when I came, I had to pay out of my pocket. I didn’t have no insurance. And they worked with me beautifully. They really, a place to come to, you know, insurance or no insurance. I brought my daughter, I brought my son-in-law, I brought my grandson. I’m going to bring my son and his wife and four kids. It’s just the timing for them. So that tells you something. Simple. I say do it as fast as you can. Don’t delay it. Go to the Comfort Dentistry. They are the place for you because anything you need, anything you want, they are there. Maybe some practice, they do this good, they miss this, they excel at this part, but, you know, their appointment, their service is not that good. And here, you have, really, no exaggeration. Everything you need.
I love coming to this practice. My hygienist that I have been with since my first day here, she is phenomenal. And me and her have just clicked since day one. And also Dr. Joh, he’s phenomenal, very friendly. He’s always happy, smiling, and he’s really easy to talk to.
So when I was little, I hated going to the dentist, and finding one that I could finally feel like I could relax and not get anxious going to. It’s been nice. Dr. Joh, he is always super friendly. He always has a smile on his face. He always greets me by name, which makes it very personal. He makes sure that we’re comfortable whenever we are here.
The quality of care here at Comfort Dentistry is phenomenal, in my opinion. I suggest it to a lot of people to come here. And just everyone who works here, they’re very friendly. They always have smiles on their faces, and they remember you. They know who you are, which is really nice. There is no stress. It’s a very calming environment. Everyone is very friendly. They talk to you while they’re doing anything, you know, teeth cleaning, cavities, whatever it is. They talk to you, they make sure that you’re comfortable, and they just like to make connections with you.
As far as I’ve also had a root canal and it was over probably 20 years since I had it. Well, of course, it needed to be reworked, and I was in Florida at the time and so, you know, I had to go see a dentist because it wasn’t functioning properly and she’s like, “Oh, we got to pull that out.” And I’m like, “No, we’re not pulling that out.” And I came and saw Dr. Joh and he’s like, “No, we don’t have to pull that out.” We’ll just reroute the canal.
So it’s not like, you know, he’s eager to start pulling teeth. You know, he’s going to work with you, try and fix it first instead of just let’s just start pulling out those teeth. So I feel very comfortable that I’m not going to come here and they’re going to, you know, start doing unnecessary procedures.
So during a root canal, like, my worst fears is, like, you know, when they numb it and those big injections are like, “Oh, my gosh, don’t.” You don’t feel the needle, you know, it’s like the scary needle. And so they just make you feel comfortable, make sure that you’re totally numb before they start drilling, as you might say. They’ll make you feel as good as you can. And if there’s a point where I gotta raise my hand and just give me a break, you know, they’ll work with you. You know, it’s just a great practice.
I feel like it’s convenient and everybody cares and takes care of you and they make it pretty simple, you know, for a dentist. It’s just the level of care, and simplicity, and convenience, and everybody is just really friendly and helpful. He gets the job done and it really is a comfortable experience. He keeps it honest and tells you what you need but he also gets it done efficiently and in a friendly and easy way.
Yeah, so working with the team here, the front desk is always scheduling everything for me so I don’t have to really think much about it. They understand the timing of what I need, my schedule, and things like that. I think the hygienist is great. I think she’s the best I’ve ever had, you know, she’s very gentle and I think she cares more about my teeth than I do.
I think it’s top-notch quality of care here just because they take care of everything and you really don’t have to do anything but show up and it’s comfortable and you always leave with a great treat so that’s a bonus.
I hadn’t been to a dentist in probably 10 years before I came here for, you know, various reasons and now I have to come here, you know, several times a year and I get more services done than I normally would have just because the level of care it’s gentle but they care, they tell you how it is but they also do what it takes to get it done and you just don’t have anything to worry about. You just sit in the chair and they take care of it. And it’s literally painless.
So last year I got married. So knowing that I was going to be having wedding photos, I wanted to make sure that my teeth were as white as possible. So I ended up getting my teeth whitened. It was a phenomenal experience, and it lasted for such a long time too afterwards. And I got so many compliments. Everyone was saying, “Oh my gosh, your teeth are so white.” I was very happy with the results. The day, it went really smooth. You know, they made sure that I was comfortable because it is a longer procedure. So they made sure they kept checking on me to make sure that I was doing okay, which was really nice and comforting. I would highly recommend teeth whitening here just because of their care that they provide. They’re so friendly. They’re so welcoming. There’s no anxiety. They are just so easy to talk to and to work with. So I would highly suggest it.
I had just an experience was I was getting fillings and at the same time I needed a tooth extraction and I’d never had that before and that was kind of scary. But Dr. Joh is just so confident in what he’s doing and nothing was painful at the time but I was terrified to have it done. And by the time I had been even remotely getting to the point of being terrified, it was already done.
Just anybody if you’re looking for a new dentist or just you don’t want a great experience this is super comfortable place to be, the whole environment is comfortable, everybody takes care of you. And I guess it’s just the convenience of it. You don’t really have to do anything but show up, sit in the chair, and then you’re out and you go about your day like nothing ever happened. It’s not a huge experience. It’s not going to destroy your day or eat into all of your time because they want to make it as painless, friendly, and easy as possible for you.
So I noticed…even though I’m a lot younger, I did obviously notice there was some yellowing, and I had a wedding coming up, so I didn’t really want that to show in the photos. When I heard about their options of teeth whitening, I was like, “Okay, I’ll give it a shot and see how it turns out,” and I actually love it. I’ve been doing it at home because they give you little trays with it, and they make you a mold of your teeth. So the whole process is really nice, and with the wedding, the photos turned out really great.
I was very comfortable the entire time, I mean, not just because of the process, but also just people that were helping me with it, they were very understanding about the matter. I definitely got the results I needed, but I remember even at the end of the process, she was, like, “If it doesn’t match your standards, we’ll work on it again. We’ll maybe book you another appointment, we’ll work around it.” Luckily, first time, it worked perfectly, but, yeah, they were very open because they wanted to make sure you got the results you had in mind.
I would definitely recommend the process at this office just because the whole process was very simple, very easy. There was never a moment where I felt like I was going into it totally blindsided. They explained every step that they wanted to take. They explained every tool, every little thing. If you had a question, they’d easily quickly answer it for you, and so the whole thing I would recommend just because the results were good.
Upper left-hand corner, I have a gap in the food was always going there and was really bothering me. And I hate using toothpick when I’m sat with people even without them. You know, I don’t like the toothpick. And of course, I have no choice that the food I could feel it in there, and it’s annoying. And I came here and the doctor checked it. He said, “Oh, you have a problem. The problem is your crown is, like, cracked a little bit. So he said, “Look, we will do the best we could do. For you, we’re going to take the filling out. We’re going to reconstruct it, and we’re going to put you a new one.”
The best thing about this part is when he did it, honest to goodness, through that is no joke, no nothing. I thought he hasn’t started because really he numbed it, and I thought he hasn’t started. And he was done. On top of that, I just said that earlier my son-in-law came for the same reason for the crown, and he told me the same thing, he said…he called me Dad. He said, “Dad, I laid down closed my eyes, and I’m thinking he’s still, you know, trying to clean it to do it. He said, ‘Okay, Brian, how it feels?'” “Did you start?” He said, “I’m done.” Magnificent, really nice
Well, you know, we just moved to Michigan about two years ago. And so, you know, we tried to find all of our new doctors and we went to a dentist down closer to our house and had a bad experience. And so a friend of ours had recommended this office and we came in, and just the professionalism, the bedside manner with the staff, the doctor, it was great. I mean, we fell in love with the place right away.
So what I like about this practice is, again, the friendliness. They’re compassionate. They understand your needs. Just whatever you need, they’re there to serve you. And they’re very professional.
So Dr. Joh is very down to earth. I’ve been to multiple dentists that I’ve never even seen their face because they stood behind me while they’re servicing me. Dr. Joh comes up, he’ll sit right in front of you. He talks to you as a person one-on-one. He asks you, what’s your issues? What can he do to help you? Very kind. Like I said, very one-on-one. He’s not a regular doctor that just rushes in, rushes out. Here’s your bill. You know, he’s there for you.
The quality of care that this office gives their patients is so professional. And I’ve never had to call them back and say, “Oh, I’ve got a problem with what you did.” And they’ve even helped us with issues that, and I say us because my husband’s also a patient here, they’ve actually helped us with issues that happened with another provider. And they actually took us in and helped resolve the issue.
You know, for someone new coming to the area, you know, a lot of people go out and do a Google search and there’s plenty of great reviews on Dr. Joh, reading those testimonials online that they’ll get a good feeling for the type of person, not just the provider or the doctor, but the type of person that he is. So I would hope that that would make them feel more at ease as far as selecting this practice as a place to go to.
I had a cracked tooth. And so, you know, when I came here, I realized that I needed a crown. And so they fitted me. And he’s so gentle with his hands that, you know, it was easy to get it done here. I also had a bridge done here. And a bridge is hard because yeah, now you’ve got to get rid of those teeth, right? And then they fitted me well. Everybody was, like, on top of their jobs. It was just a pleasant experience for an unpleasant experience.
They use quality products. So it’s not like they put it in and it didn’t work or it fell out. You know, it’s just been excellent as far as not needing another service on top of a service. The staff is just great. Everybody’s so wonderful, and I’m just so happy.
